Super light, sleekly finished, and packed with smart features like; premium SK99 flying lines, auto-swivel, the ability to easily shorten the flying lines by doubling them over to pre-determined lengths, and a really smooth quick release system. Everything you need for maximum control, no matter your style or the conditions.
The bar is equipped with ultra-strong SK99 Dyneema lines — up to 20% stronger than standard Dyneema and with virtually no stretch. This means your kite responds more directly to every input and as a bonus: the lines can be doubled over to pre-determined shorther lengths.
At the heart of the system is the PU monoblock depower line with a smooth auto-swivel mechanism. This allows the bar to untwist automatically — super handy for kiteloops or when sheeting out, so you never have to deal with tangled lines again. The Streamlined Y-Stopper from Reedin, a micro-loop in the front line, prevents the Y-split from sliding too far up. This keeps the bar closer and provides extra control after a release.
The finishing has also been upgraded. The flexible floaters are durable and prevent the lines from wrapping around the bar. The neatly covered trim line protects against wear, and the reinforced flag line connection allows smoother untwisting and extends the bar’s lifespan. New for this version are stainless steel center pins — fully corrosion-resistant and built to last. And of course, there’s the trusted click-in quick release system, designed like a seatbelt buckle. Even with cold hands, this release works flawlessly. The suicide ring option is also integrated, great for riders using the bar in suicide mode. The bar is adjustable from 43 to 49 cm and features an ultra-thin diameter for better grip and a more connected feel with your kite. Thanks to interchangeable pigtails, the bar is compatible with multiple kites, also non-Reedin kites.
Even smaller riders are covered: For younger kiters or riders with shorter arms, there’s also a shorty version with a shorter depower line and a closer trim system. It makes riding more comfortable, safer, and just a bit easier. The smaller chicken loop also makes hooking in and out much more accessible.
